Primitivo wine medal in the contest Selezione del Sindaco 2012
The contest Selezione del Sindaco 2012 held in late May in Lamezia Terme (CZ) confirms once more the absolute quality of Primitivo IGT 2009 Salento of Masseria Capoforte, which won the silver medal prize for the second year running. The competition sponsored by National Association ”Città del Vino”, in its 11th edition, has the aim to award quality wines together with their area of origin. This year the event has been attended by an increasing number of competitors up to 1220 wines to be tasted by more than 70 examiners. This consecutive award to the Apulian red wine, which won 85,80/100 score, states the high quality of the products of Masseria and increases the already high medal collection of the family Ceschin, repeatedly awarded for the wines of the company Bepin De Eto in San Pietro di Feletto.
