Arcorato, the new red from the Masseria Capoforte winery.
Elegant, emblematic and complex: from the encounter between the determination of man and the exclusivity of a grape like the Aglianico, the Arcorato red wine is born. The new red from Salento that Ettore Ceschin, owner of the Masseria Capoforte winery, presented with a great satisfaction to the public during the last edition of Vinitaly in Verona.
A precious expression of a late harvest, Arcorato’s wait is its strength, refining its personality in small oak barrels for at least 24 months before a further period of rest in the bottle. A red capable of a long journey with an intense and complex aromatic profile, dominated by an oriental spice with cinnamon, nutmeg and pepper, accompanied by nuances of tobacco, roasted coffee and light vanilla, while in the finish there is a hint of red fruits of cherry and strawberry.
Pleasantly sapid, long and with a dry and persistent finish on the palate, it expresses its best qualities in combination with first courses of meat sauces, red and game meats, but also with hard aged cheeses.
